Peace activist and Catholic worker Jim Dowling is the third person to be arrested and the Queensland anti-free speech laws. Jim was taken into custody outside the Boeing building in Brisbane. In the space of one week since Royal Ascent was given to the anti-semitism laws, their weaknesses have been revealed: opportunism, idealism, and moralism.
Boeing in Brisbane is running Australia’s E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Program that is operating on the battlefield against Iran. 85 Australian personnel accompany the aircraft. There are 1500 Boeing employees in Brisbane CBD developing the project. Is it part of the *Five Eyes program feeding untel to the field of battle? We are going to find out. If Albo keeps leaking info in his eagerness to please Trump, I don’t think the Australian crew on the E-7A have long to live.
This war of aggression was initiated by Israel and the United States for undisclosed purposes. The Australian government is supporting this war by sending its own Boeing Wedgetail aircraft into the warzone. This is what Jim has to say about the new laws banning free speech in Queensland.

Just when you thought the world could not get any crazier, the Queensland government has bought in a law (and arrested two people within hours of enacting it), making it illegal to speak or display the words, “From the river████████████████████ [Redacted pursuant to Queensland Government directive, 2026.]
Of course, if you are not enmeshed in the particular insanity in this particular part of the world, you may not believe what I am saying.
But it is true.
Sometimes I wonder if I have not gone “down the rabbit hole”, as the saying goes, and ended up in a more bloody version of “Alice in Wonderland”, with our government supporting open genocide in Gaza, the mindless slaughter of the Iran “war”, and now this law.
Some people have said that Lewis Carol was taking magic mushrooms when he wrote Alice, partly because of the mushroom imagery in the novel. One can only wonder if the whole of Queensland parliament was on magic mushrooms when they passed this insane law.
The first court cases will be interesting. I am hoping the magistrate does not just shout “Off with their heads”, before the trial begins.

Days before the law was passed, they put the banner on the side of their house. It reads, “From the river████████████████████ [Redacted pursuant to Queensland Government directive, 2026.] Sea. Come and get us Crisafulli“. Kind of rhymes, even. For those not lucky enough to live here, Crisafulli is our beloved premier.
Amazingly, not even the police have come to the house yet, (let alone Crisafulli).
The law has been in force 3 days so far.

In Queensland, you can now be arrested for wearing a t-shirt. Two phrases have been criminalised: the call for freedom from apartheid in Palestine, and solidarity against Israel’s apartheid regime.
Bonnie was arrested for wearing a singlet bearing a popular Palestinian freedom slogan. She was charged under draconian new laws designed to silence the Palestine solidarity movement.
May Bonnie’s courage inspire us all. We must stand together against these fascist laws attacking our freedom of speech.

Peter Kyle, Labour friend of Israel, becomes UK Trade Secretary. He does not declare his interest. Peter KYLE then sells F35 parts to Israel to bomb: Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Iran.
The UK minister responsible for arms exports to Israel didn’t answer our questions about Labour Friends of Israel, or give comment on whether he has broken ministerial code by not declaring that he is a member of the pro-Israel pressure group. Despite a partial arms embargo, the UK is still selling parts for F35 fighter jets to Israel, which it is using to bomb Iran.
This isn’t the first time Peter Kyle has been asked about this potential conflict of interest, Declassified editor Phil Miller bumped into him outside the annual LFI lunch but he refused to answer why he was still a friend of Israel after two years of genocide in Gaza.

Trump’s narrative to the American people “We are winning” is not just dubious. It is disgusting.
Just a couple of observations. Over 15% of the population of Lebanon are currently homeless, fleeing from bombardment.
That number, currently 850,000 people, is likely to increase because of attacks by Israel from Syria.
The only group resisting Israeli invasion is H e z b o l l a h. H. has coordinated attacks with Iran against targets in Israel.
Reports on the ground have described to me how Israeli tanks were pushed back over the border of Syria, not Israel’s border, over the Syrian border!
There are no prices for guessing who has repelled Israel’s invasion: H e z b o l l a h.
Right wing Maronites in Lebanon are living in dreamland thinking they’re going to be saved by the Americans. Why would they trust Trump while Christian suburbs are being bombed by the Israelis?
