Reply to Netanyahu’s UN speech, 24 September 2026
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu claims to be an innocent teenager during the Six-Day War in 1967. Israel built a myth that was a lie. The war ended on 10 June, with Israel occupying surrounding Arab lands in the Sinai Peninsula, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights. This was the second phase of a European colonial project following Zionist ideology that exploits biblical myths about Samaria and Judea.
And now, sixty years later, Israel, through military force and genocide, combined with ethnic cleansing, has reoccupied Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon, and the Golan Heights in Syria.
Jonathan Netanyahu (his brother) was born in New York and was educated in a middle class high school. He joined the IDF paratroopers to fight in the 6 day war in 1967. He graduated as the top cadet in 1966 and became an officer drilling his troops for 18 hours a day. IDF paratroopers urged their leaders to strike Arab villages in Jordan. After this operation he was discharged from the army. Jonathan worked in the occupied Palestinian territory. He rejoined the IDF and took part in the pre-emptive strike taking more territory in the Sinai and Syria. He returned to the US to study at Havard. From their home in the United States, all the Netanyahu brothers joined a covert unit operating in Beirut and Syria. ‘Yoni’ returned to Havard. During the Yom Kippur war he returned to the Golan Heights to continue raids into resistance territory.

Israel had constructed a narrative of the hero that his brother returned to in his UN speech.
Over the past three years, under Netanyahu’s leadership, Israel has committed a genocidal war in Gaza, brutally suppressed and murdered Palestinians in the West Bank, invaded and occupied territory in Lebanon and Syria, killing over 100,000 people. Israel is conducting a war of aggression against Iran killing 168 school girls and bombing people in parks, weddings and mosques.
If you parse every sentence of Netanyahu’s speech in the UN, therein sits a lie.
