To: MPs in state and federal government, and to councillors in local government (listed below).
I write as a resident of [Wynnum, Manly, Tingalpa, Cleveland and greater Brisbane Magan-djin], who is deeply concerned about F-35 parts manufacturing taking place in our community and its connection to ongoing genocide in Gaza. Since October 2023, allegations of serious violations of international humanitarian law in Gaza have been widely documented and debated internationally. Civilian deaths — including those of children — have caused widespread alarm and grief. Despite political declarations of a “ceasefire,” Israel continues to murder Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
The International Court of Justice ICJ ruled on January 26th 2024 that Israel’s action in Gaza constitutes plausible genocide. The court ruled against Israel that the right of the Palestinians in Gaza be protected from acts of genocide…” – Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in the Gaza Strip (South Africa v. Israel)
The Australian government has since failed to meet its obligations under the Genocide Convention. Australia continued to support Israel with weapon parts, intelligence, and allowed Australian as dual citizens to participate in genocide perpetrated by the IDF.
Your constituents are not consenting to be a part of the first live-streamed genocide in history. We demand that you to represent us by respecting international law or face electoral backlash.
As you know already, both state and federal governments have are providing funding to Ferra Engineering in Tingalpa to produce F-35 parts used by Israel to drop huge bombs killing over 70 thousand Palestinians nearly half of whom are children.

As an elected representative, you must immediately use your influence to shut down these exports to US/Israel. Currently neither Israel nor the United States can drop a bomb without parts made by Ferra in Brisbane under exclusive contract to Lockheed Martin.
Your government is actively supporting the industrial slaughter of human life in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen and Iraq.
Under Arms Trade Treaties signed by government – exporting states must not authorize weapons transfers if they know the arms could be used to commit war crimes or genocide.
If basic human rights, like the rights to exist, resist and return, means nothing to you, you can’t possibly represent us.
Basic human rights are essential for any civilised society. The Australian government currently supports crimes against humanity, and you can help to stop this.
Today, we just ask for a token of understanding and commitment. Are you willing to place on record your undertaking to stop Australia’s complicity in the genocide in Gaza, murder and confiscation of lands by Israeli settlers in occupied Palestine? Will you stand with us?
