The monthly informal concert hosted by Jumping Fences. Guest artists for this month are Robin Etter-Cleave & Brian Brett, and Clare Quinn.
Robin Etter-Cleave and Brian Brett have been playing together for over 17 years. With Brian on guitar and vocals, and Robin on flute, penny whistles and vocals, they play a fun mixture of Irish, English and Aussie folk along with some touches of Irish Trad.
Clare Quinn: Folk flavoured songstress Clare Quinn puts on a captivating and engaging live show. Raw emotion and pure passion are shared with her audiences, delivered through snippets of stories, well-crafted songs and her distinctive voice. Having spent 10 months backpacking in Europe in 2012, Clare has recently released her debut album, “Emerald”, which was written and recorded between Ireland, Scotland and England, and will be available on the night at Foco Nuevo [http://clarequinn.com/].
Jumping Fences: the song-writing partnership of Lachlan Hurse and Sue Monk, will be playing their energetic folk, tinged with Cuban flavours. Their original works contain imagery and styles that reveal both an incisive insight into Australian life and a long association with Latin American culture [www.jumpingfences.com.au].
