Pro-cycling team, Israel Premier tech, was prevented from passing a barricade of Palestinian banners in the largest race in Spain. The team is funded by an Israeli billionaire and Canadian developer, Sylvan Adams, who refers to himself as “a self-appointed ambassador at large for the state of Israel”.
As a result of the intervention, the Israel team lost ground in the race. Israel Premier tech is comprised of riders from Australia, the United States, Germany, and other pro Israel countries, all complicit in the genocide in Gaza. They should be banned from all pro UCI races. However, the French dominated body continues to allow the sports-washing of Israel’s apartheid and genocidal Zionist Society.
