Meanwhile, the tactical crime squad in Brisbane is trying to jail activists for disarming a local weapons company, Ferra Engineering, making bomb parts for American F-35 fighter bombers and drones engaged in the genocide in Gaza, Palestine.
The Australian Federal Police were set up after the New South Wales special branch played a role in the bombing of the Hilton Hotel during a visit by an Indian prime minister in 1979. Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser was asked by members of his cabinet to ensure the safety of parliamentarians at the CHOGM meeting at the Sydney Hilton by providing Army security lining the road every 100 metres for their trip back to Canberra.
The army refused Fraser’s request, pointing out that it would be futile to station soldiers along the highway. A logistical nightmare involving over 5,000 army personnel doing shifts to protect parliamentarians. It was pointed out to Fraser by a Lieutenant colonel in the army that there would be no guarantee that such a force would be capable of stopping an assassination even if Australian politicians were the target which seemed unlikely. Why would anyone bother, given two-party agreement on foreign policy aka subjugation to the United States.
Garbage workers and police were killed in the attack. Tim Anderson and other members of the Ananda Marga in Sydney were framed for the bombing of the Hilton. After they were pardoned, a spiritually committed member of the Ananda Marga confessed to the bombing. This was a false confession. That person played no role in the bombing. During the planning phase of the bombing that person was in the watchouse in South Brisbane and was remanded to appear in Brisbane Magistrates court near the day of the bombing in Sydney.

A person commits an offence if the person recruits, in Australia, another person to serve in any capacity in or with an armed force in a foreign country.
It is a further offence to facilitate or promote recruitment for a foreign army and to publish recruitment materials. This includes advertising information relating to how a person may serve in a foreign army. The maximum penalty for each offence is ten years. Not even a succession of pro-Israeli Australian prime ministers have been game to declare that it is not an offence to recruit for the Israel Defence Force, so recruitment to a foreign armed force is a criminal offence under Australian law, and the Australian Federal Police should be investigating anyone allegedly involved in recruitment for a foreign armed force.
