The good and the bad Albanese?

The UN mandate calls on the special rapporteur to ‘investigate Israel’s violations of the principles and bases of international law [and] international humanitarian law’, ‘to receive communications, to hear witnesses, and to use such modalities of procedure as he [sic] may deem necessary for his mandate’; and ‘to report, with his conclusions and recommendations, to the Commission on Human Rights at its future sessions, until the end of the Israeli occupation of those territories’. The end of the Israeli occupation, which began in 1967, is thus the stipulated time limit for this mandate. – Francesca Albanese.

It was in 1948 that the United Nations set up the Jewish state of Israel after the British fled Palestine. I agree that we should support the good Albanese, the special rapporteur, and not the bad one, Australia’s Prime Minister. Anthony Albanese invited the architect of the genocide in Gaza to Australia after Bondi.

Seriously, it is a terrible oversight for the special rapporteur’s UN mandate to ignore the 1948 Al Nakba, the terrible occupation that followed from 1948 (not from 1967 as claimed in the Good Albanese‘s statement above). This is not nitpicking as claimed in the comments … over 500,000 people were forced out, the Israelis murdered over 13,000 people, destroyed hundreds (360?) towns and villages raising them to the ground, occupied stolen lands from 1948 not 1967.

To ignore this history is a crime in itself. It was the United Nations that caused this problem by partitioning Palestine because of European guilt at the Holocaust and European refusal to accept Jewish refugeese back into Germany, the Netherlands, UK, France, Belgium all settler colonial countries. The Zionists exploited this and conducted a terrorist campaign in Palestine against the unsuspecting people in that area.

There must be some recognition of United Nations complicity in the genocide, the very same organisation that employs The Good Albanese.

Why should we absolve do United Nations of its crime against humanity any more than we do the genocidal Israelis.

I hadn’t realized until just now that the UN Rapporteur and your fantastic Prime Minister have the same name…. Wonder if they are related? Their politics could not be more different.. I have been following her trying to get the truth out about the genocide and so was a little perturbed by your criticism of a statement by her relating to a timeline. Especially when we are dealing with such massive lies concerning the zionists. As a very detached observer of this I was always puzzled as to why noone questions the fact that Israel/Mossad supposedly did not know that 3000 Hammas fighters were massing on their border??? Doesn’t that seem a bit strange>?
Anyway what I want to say Ian is that we should be supporting Ms. Albanese and not nit picking something she said. She has done alot and is under constant attack by the forces we too are against.
