Palestine meets Santa

Invisible and inevitable, like a butterfly that beats its wings in one corner of the globe and with that single action changes the war (sic) halfway across the world.”

On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people, a crowd of over 1000 people occupied Brisbane city mall to protest the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. It was the largest demonstration held in the mall since the culmination of the democratic rights campaign on 27 May 1982. Here is the jfp report on Instagram.

Magan-djin showed up for Palestine last night!

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to mark International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. We heard incredible, moving speeches before marching through the CBD with a stop in Queen St Mall and a visit to Boeing on Charlotte St.

We also heard from healthcare workers in solidarity with martyred Palestinian and Lebanese colleagues killed by Israel over the past 14 months. Healthcare workers are not a target.

We rallied for the Palestinian people who have every right to Exist, Resist and Return. We will not stop protesting, disrupting and demanding Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions on Israel until our government ends their complicity in this genocide.

Commemoration of International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People continues today with the inter-faith vigil and reading of names of martyred healthcare workers and journalists this afternoon.

We will not stop protesting until Palestine is free, from the river to the sea ✊🇵🇸
