هذه مظاهرة في عيد العمال في أيار/مايو 2024 في بريسبان حيث يدعو رماح ناجي من ”العدالة من أجل فلسطين ماجاندجين“ رئيس وزراء كوينزلاند: ”نحن العمال، نحن الطبقة العاملة هنا!“ يغني فيل مونسور عن المصاعب التي يواجهها الفلسطينيون، مثل العيش في معسكرات الاعتقال، والإذلال عند نقاط التفتيش، وتدمير المدارس والمستشفيات. يحث فيل العمال على دعم السلام والعدالة بدلًا من الإبادة الجماعية. ترسل أغنية بيت سيغر التي أعيدت صياغتها هنا رسالة إلى الناخبين، معبرة عن الإحباط من السياسيين.
This is a protest on May Day 2024 in Brisbane where Remah Naji from “Justice for Palestine Magandjin” is calling out the Premier of Queensland: “We are the workers, we are the working class, right here!” Phil Monsour is singing about hardships faced by Palestinians, such as living in prison camps, being humiliated at checkpoints, and the destruction of schools and hospitals. Phil is urging workers to support peace and justice over genocide. Pete Seeger’s song Which side are you on? reworked here, sends a message to voters, expressing frustration with politicians.
