It was exciting and exhilarating here today in New York. Where around 700 people gathered to commemorate the year of terrorism by the zionists in Palestinian. The rally began in the deep dark heart of Capitalism – the New York stock exchange…. And then we marched all the way up through Manhattan’s Streets to Central Park. It was a very eclectic group of people, young and old, male and female, with visible differences. There was of course quite a proliferation of people wearing the keffiyeh, but there also were around a dozen people who were obviously Orthodox Jews and some Israelis holding signs about the horror and their opposition to what’s going on in Palestine at the moment.
There was also the Sea of Blue, who reminded me of the days when we tried to march down the street in Brisbane. However this time they did not attack us, but definitely showed their bias with a couple of men standing in their ranks wearing Israeli flags!!
