Two People climbed on to the roof of HTA Brisbane, an arms manufacturing company in Coopers Plains in Magan-djin, at 3 AM this morning, and their protest was ongoing till they were brought down by police negotiators just before noon. Two protesters in so-called Brisbane occupy the roof of Heat Treatment Australia’s headquarters.
HTA is an Australian company that is complicit in the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and the west bank. They provide crucial heat treatment services to parts of the F35 fighter jet currently used to bomb innocent civilians in Palestine.
The protesters have disrupted work at this facility for a few hours now and support is gathering outside the facility.
