Sadie and Jay sing with earthy and soaring harmonies accompanied by a variety of instruments. A beautiful collision of divergent music styles creating music that immediately draws you in. Their repertoire of originals and eclectic covers is a mix of moving ballads, humorous ditties & high paced musical romps. With the able assistance of percussionist extraordinaire Suzanne Hibbs they will be performing songs from their new album “CURIOUS” as well as some quirky takes on familiar tunes. [website]
The Toni Pollard Band:From Brisbane the band play Memphis Blues, Vintage 1920s Street Jazz, Skiffle, a genre of folk music from the turn of the century in New Orleans and original compositions by Pollard a finalist in the Australian Songwriting Awards in 2013.
