    Hello good folk

    Today we’re shooting the film clip to the funky launch song for ‘Galilee Blockade’. It features heaps of kids, a farmer, activists, Tony Abbott, Campbell Newman and a variety of coal moguls. I can’t wait till you all get to see it, and the political surprise that will accompany the launch.

    We’ve been working most of this year on a sorely needed grassroots direct campaign aimed at preventing the mining of insane amounts of coal in Queensland’s Galilee Basin. We will be launching this with a huge (metaphorical) bang before the end of the year. We’re gearing up for the launch period and very much need volunteers to assist with a wide variety of tasks. These include design, research, writing, coding, community engagement, events and the like. If you have some time to spare in the next few months, please reply to this email with some more information and skills you’d like to share on this ridiculously important campaign.
