Island Vibe Festival seeks young emerging Indigenous artist for pre festival activities

Hope all is well,

Just getting the word out about this years festival and let mob know I started working with Island Vibe Festival. Could you please pass info on to interested people particularly young emerging artists as we need to get the attached form back asap to get organised. The festival goes from 29th to 31st October and there is an Arts and Culture Program in the schools and community, read below for more details. They’ll be getting a recording studio in etc if all goes as planned too.

AN INVITATION TO JOIN US BEFORE THE FESTIVAL BEGINS:

Kulchajam and Island Vibe Festival invite you to join with us in the true spirit of connection, and be a part of arts and cultural exchange prior to and during this year’s festival.

As part of our efforts to honour the beautiful sands and seas where our festival takes place, and the true custodians of this special island, we encourage everyone to leave a positive impact.

This year the Festival is inviting you to take part in events in the week leading up to the festival, for our young people and emerging artists through a program of arts and cultural development.

Again like last year performers at the festival will take part in workshops in the local school and/or mentoring and master classes for local and emerging indigenous artists.

If you are interested in being a part in any way of an artistic and creative cultural collaboration, please indicate your availability and interest via email or by submitting the attached form.
