Justice for Palestine Magan-djin (JFP) organised a Palestinian flag drop on the Goodwill Bridge on July 3 to mark 1000 days of Israel’s genocide against the people of Gaza.
Two giant flags were dropped, one on each side of the bridge while people waved flags and chanted “Free, free Palestine”.
The action echoed a similar action from October 9, 2023.

Overnight, Iran launched attacks on US military targets in Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar. This came in retaliation for US airstrikes on dozens of sites in Iran.
In recent days, the United States has been escalating threats and violence in West Asia – in flagrant violation of the June ceasefire agreement – while presenting itself as the guardian of stability.
But the basic reality remains the same since Washington and Tel Aviv launched their failed war of aggression and regime change in February: Iran controls the vital Strait of Hormuz and cannot be dislodged by military force.
The escalation in violence comes as millions of people across Iran and Iraq have been joining the funeral procession for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s leader murdered on the first day of the US-Israeli attack.
