This is the largest hunger strike since Bobby Sands in the 1980s.
The hunger strikers have been saving lives by dismantling Elbit Systems killer quadcopter drones destined for Israel in the genocide in Gaza.
There is a snap sit-in at QLD Parliament tomorrow 9 January 2026 at 5pm to stand in solidarity with the filton24.
At the sit in will be a comrade from the UK, free the filton 24 there to share his stories and the demands of his friends, being held as political prisoners.
We ask you to join us at our snap sit-in and make clear to our government and the UK government that the filton 24 are not alone.

Demands of Filton24
Immediate Bail. They want release from pre-trial custody — many have been held on remand far beyond the usual legal limit while waiting for trial.
Right to a Fair Trial. This includes having access to proper legal processes and relevant evidence, and not being subject to prolonged detention or special restrictions.
End Censorship of Communications. They demand that letters, phone calls, books and other communications are no longer withheld or monitored in a manner they and their supporters say restricts basic rights.
De-proscribe Palestine Action. The UK government designated Palestine Action as a proscribed organization (under anti-terror laws). The strikers and supporters want that proscription lifted. �Vashti Media
Closure of Israel-linked Arms Sites (e.g., Elbit Systems UK). Many supporters link the protest to opposition to UK complicity in supplying weapons and demand shut-downs of facilities belonging to Elbit Systems and similar firms.
Broader Political/Policy Demands (from allied protests). In demonstrations supporting them, protesters also chant or call for:
• an end to the ongoing genocide in Palestine and UK complicity,
• full boycott/divestment/sanctions on Israel,
• freedom for all Palestinian hostages and political prisoners.
