Really big ride for 🇵🇸 Magan-djin

Four riders during this apocalypse rode a total of 640 km collectively, their aim was to help the people of Gaza via Union Aid Abroad and Maan development.

At the Captain Cook Bridge, we joined up with Pascal and his friend.  We missed Alex, but hopefully, he and Kamala can come to the finale next Sunday, the 30th of November, at John Walker place at 10:00 a.m. At Avalon Road, we were joined by Mark, who immediately went to the front and crushed it all the way to Manly . We had a lot of support along the way.  At Cleveland, we were joined by Trevor, who instantly became our guide of the Redlands, along with Mark. A big thank you to Susan for preparing the Middle Eastern lunch, including flatbread, babaganous, hummus watermelon 🍉 all kinds of lovely fruit, and chocolates. Thanks to  our support crew, Claire and Katherine, and a big thankyou to all the riders on this truly epic really big ride for Palestine 🇵🇸 Magandjin Australia.

We’re doing well around the country, 131 participants who have ridden/walked/run a total of 7878 km, 351 donors, and we’re up to $19,800 in funds raised in two weeks.

The Sydney walk/ride in Parramatta yesterday went well from all accounts, as did the events in Victoria. The Adelaide Big Ride is on next weekend, so it’s full steam ahead to our closing event next Sunday.

One further comment, it is about time the people of the Redlands reject all these colonial names like Wellington, Cleveland, Empire Point, Trafalgar, and Waterloo. Replace them with indigenous names. Come on, people.

It is not too late to register ride and donate
