The authorities may not allow 50,000 people to march for Palestine across the Story Bridge, but they could do nothing to stop twenty or so hard and bike riders this Thursday morning . The last bike bus rolled across the Story Bridge on the newly opened footpath this morning. Thank you to the Story Bridge Active Travel Alliance for their excellent campaign – 164 bus busses, two protests, and a court case as well as regular interviews and updates on radio, including 4BC Brisbane and ABC Brisbane supporting active transport access for Brisbane residents. 7NEWS Brisbane was there this morning to record the historic occasion.
