Hello all,
Anti-colonial research action (Acra) is screening a film this Friday, 26 September, at 6 pm at Kurilpa Commons @ 250 BoundaryStreetWest End.
The film is ‘Friends and Enemies’. The organiser, Elina ABOU-SLEIMAN, has asked me to ask me to invite people involved in the SEQEB dispute.
Two participants in the SEQEB dispute, Gary MacLennan and Rosemarie McBride, have agreed to come to the screening of Friends and Enemies. Gary and Rosemarie will speak to the significance of this dispute.
Speaking of films, the Save AHIMSA house library committee has discovered films. that were part of the AHIMSA House Library. What should be done with these films? They include Silent Running by Bruce Dern, the Vertical Rays of the Sun by Tran and Hung, and Placido Risotto.
In solidarity

Here’s a taste of the action of the SEQEB dispute that is subject of the film ( this is not Friends and enemies).
