Going home

Most of us know the name of Max Dupain and are familiar with his fabulous photography. But long before he was on the scene there was Harold Cazneaux, who was often spotted around areas like Darlinghurst, Woolloomooloo. Balmain, Circular Quay, Pyrmont, and Surrry Hills. His constant companion was a camera he nicknamed named “The Midge”.

Here is one of his beautiful photos taken in 1910 somewhere in North Sydney.
