I remember reading the judgement in the defamation trial involving Ben Roberts-Smith, war criminal. Roberts–Smith had sued Nine newspapers for defamation over a series of 2018 articles he alleged falsely portrayed him as a war criminal. There was a passage in the 900-page document that caught my eye that was about Robert Smith girlfriend who had become ‘tired and emotional’ at a defence tail party with all the military brass politicians hangers on the whole schermozzle in Canberra. She was blabbing in-house secrets about Afghanistan, embarrassing war crimes, the pillow-talk with her lover. His lover testified about his assault of her in a Canberra hotel stairwell. The girlfriend claimed Roberts-Smith punched her, and she later lied about the cause of her black eye, fearing his retribution.
It was all a bit much for the top brass and so they contacted Robert-Smith to remove her from the field, their piss-up. All the salacious detail came out in the trial. It is very hard to keep a secret. Especially when it involves the wholesale murder of innocent people. Everyone has skin-in-the-game: the weapons dealers, media outlets, the military, scientific experts, the glitterati, the billionaires, the politicians, the hangers-on, the journos, all their eternal fight to advance their position, to nowhere. Strangelove appeared recently in this photo of this weapon’s system sold under the noses of the Australian government to assist Israel in its genocide in Gaza.
The State-owned Israeli Aerospace Industry (IAI) recently posted a photograph of the Israeli Defence Minister, Israel Katz, standing in front of a cannon at a weapon testing site in southern Israel. This photo also appeared in the Israeli Government’s official press release.
The cannon is alleged to be of the type that executed HAMAS leader, SinwaYahya Ibrahim Hassan Sinwarr on 16 October 2024.
This has proved to be an embarrassment to defence experts in Australia who had been denying any such sales for the past five years and backed by LNP/ALP governments. It’s just part of the Great Australian Silence about its complicity in the genocide.
Strangelove’a father, was directly involved in the sale of Hawk missiles to Israel by the Kennedy administration in the 1960s. In a strange twist, the father insisted that his son, Andreas, obtain a second Master’s degree from Delft University of Technology.
The students at that Institute are well known for their Islamophobia and anti-arab sentiments. However, Andreas went on to work for the Saudis perfecting weapons used against Yemen 🇾🇪 the only country currently upholding International Law by preventing the passage of arms to Israel.
Once the genocide began, Strangelove popped up in War Mould Street in Canberra as the CEO of EOS systems. Although blurred out in Google Maps, this is the headquarters of Australia’s billion dollar engagement with US/Israeli military.
