PACBI (Palestinian Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel) called for a boycott of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest because Israel was allowed to participate while pursuing its genocidal campaign of collective punishment against the people of Gaza.
This is how a Palestinian comrade and I responded to that call. I raised this banner near the stage only to have it ripped down by some audience members. I was escorted away by security. But not before my comrade took these shots.
