Palestine Fair Trade (Australia) stall is at the West End markets on the last Saturday of each month . The stall features a number of products including: organic soaps made in Nablus, olive oil, zaatar jars , olive dip, cookbooks, keffiyas, scarves, purses, cushion covers and ornaments. People are welcome to come along and to purchase these goods and talk with volunteers there. Palestine fair trade Australia is a not for profit charity that sends the money to Palestine so that workers can earn a living and keep their economy going.
The concept of fair trade is to prevent exploitation of workers end of the environment. Selling their products at market puts money back in the hands of Palestinian workers.
