Lachlan Hurse has edited the video of the Brisbane Labour History Association’s Alex Macdonald Memorial lecture and uploaded it to YouTube.
It was called ‘White Australia and the Labour Movement’ and was delivered by Dr Phil Griffiths for whom this issue has clearly been a lifelong concern.
It’s a very interesting analysis of racism in Australia, and worth reflecting on in the context of current struggles against racism in our nation today.
