Sue and Lachlan – Jumping Fences

Feed Lucy

Feed Lucy are friends and musicians who write and perform original music steeped in allusions from the 70’s onward. The music is inspired acoustic folk, pop/ rock and its old fashioned song craft needs an attention span of more than 30 seconds!Meeting while singing in an acapella group, close harmony singing is a feature of Feed Lucy’s sound. We have a classically trained keyboard player a conservatorium-trained bass player, a drummer with god given vocal talents and a guitarist who nearly made it big in Japan in the 1980’s!

Jumping Fences

Jumping Fences — the hosts of Foco Nuevo — play a unique mix of original and Latin American songs. The song-writing partnership of Sue Monk on guitar and vocals, and Lachlan Hurse on electric bass, together with James Harper on drums and Ross Gwyther on tenor sax and clarinet, perform arrangements that move between tenderness and energy. Over three decades their poetic and insightful lyrics have explored the lives and feelings of people living on the margins or caught in the midst of struggle.‘Sometimes you can sing what you cannot say…’
