Abortion rights across the world

United States Supreme Court appears to distrust half the population with the right to control their own bodies. Plus the court is attacking the poor and the young; African Americans and Latinos. People who don’t have the money to fly somewhere for an abortion. In many cases it will mean an end to safe abortions. Local groups are mobilising.

Meanwhile, countries across Latin America are moving in the opposite direction to the US. Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Ecuador have decriminalized or outright legalized abortion in the past two years. In Cuba, abortion has been universally accessible and free for all women since 1965.

Roe v Wade has been overturned – fight back!

The US Supreme Court has just overturned the landmark 1973 Roe v Wade ruling that established a right to an abortion under certain conditions.

Millions of people have lost their reproductive rights overnight, thanks to the votes of nine people.

This is an outrageous attack on women and LGBTI people!

And the conservative right-wingers have been handed a victory, that they will use to galvanise their supporters to continue to attack our rights.

Join us next Friday night to rally against the bigots and demand abortion rights everywhere, safe, free and on demand!

This action is supported by Children by Choice, Cheek Media, One Woman Project and March4Justice!
