Lest we forget: All victims of all wars: We remember especially the only wars fought on Australian soil: the Frontier Wars

Lest we forget the human cost of war and the $1.7 trillion spent on military activity each year.

The Independent and Peaceful Australia Network in Brisbane invites you to join us in mourning the loss of lives in wars past and present and call for an end to the war industry.

Peace Vigil and Procession
Friday April 24

Speakers include Sam Watson and Ruby Wharton plus music and poetry
Please bring candles. Wear white poppies.

Meet 5pm: Roma Street Forum – for speakers, music

6-7pm: Procession: The procession will lead to a site to remember the Frontier Wars and then on to Anzac Square, where a white poppy wreath will be laid on the Cenotaph. Those who wish will then proceed to Musgrave Park to join Camp Dundalii…

Friday April 24 – Sat April 25

Come in and join us in the commemoration of the frontier war and our ancestors who fought to ensure a future for our people. Come in and camp the night and wake up the next morning for our dawn service in Musgrave Park on the 24th to the 25th of April!
