Reminder about public forum on offshore processing.

Dear refugee supporters and other friends,
Just a reminder about the public forum presented the Refugee Action Collective. It’s at 1pm, Saturday 5th July, at Kurilpa Hall, 174 Boundary St, West End (near the West End Library).
We have two excellent speakers: First, Steve Kilburn, former G4S security guard at Manus Island detention centre. You may remember is deeply moving testimony on Four Corners a few months back. Then there is Kate Schuetze, Amnesty International researcher, who has also witnessed conditions at Manus Island first hand. You may remember her as the very powerful speaker at the GetUp vigil for murdered detainee Reza Berati at Roma St in February.
If at all possible please help spread the word about this event throughout your networks. There are links to RAC’s Facebook announcement below, and a flier is attached, which can be printed or spread through Facebook or email.
