A leaflet is attached to promote a meeting about civil liberties to be held on 27 February.
The meeting is titled: ‘Taking Liberties: “Punitive populism” and the neo-liberal agenda of the Newman government’.

Amongst other aspects of the attack upon civil liberties there will be discussion on the intersection the LNP’s law and order campaigning and the State government’s broader neo-liberal agenda, and the attendant shift to authoritarianism in the exercise of state power.
