WBT is looking for a new editor in 2014.
This may take the form of an individual or an editorial collective.
Workers BushTelegraph is primarily for original articles, original news, stories you can’t read elsewhere, original verse, original pictures, videos and music. Till now the website has local content focussed on S-E Queensland. This may change with a new editor or editorial collective. WBT averages between 100 and 200 views per day and has had 380,000 views in the past three years. There have been 2,500 posts and nearly 4,000 comments on WBT (its all about numbers, sic -:)
Topics covered on WBT
* The Master/servant relationship. The power of boss over worker. More can be found out about this at the LeftPress Website – After the Waterfront – the workers are quiet
* The struggle of indigenous people for land rights and social justice in Australia.
* The role of government. What enterprises should government own and run. Why and how?
The editor selects the stories for publication and posts them on the site. She/he replies to all correspondence and makes requests for new and original articles.
Some knowledge of wordpress would help but is not essential.
