Indigenous Literacy Project
On Wednesday September 1st, 2010, Black Cat Books & Café will be part of the Indigenous Literacy Project fund-raising effort. On this day 5% of all our book sales will be donated to the fund. So please support us in being a part of a very important effort to raise urgently needed funds.
Also on that day, we will be hosting a Great Book Swap from 5:30pm until 7:30pm. How does this work? Bring along a book you have loved, put in a book plate saying why you liked the book, and bring it in to our shop before the 1st September. Then come along on the day, make a gold coin donation to the ILP and pick out a book in exchange. Please take a moment to have a look at this website:
