Words can never ever explain the raw tragedy
It’s not a war, they’re just murdering more rapidly – Lowkey

This is what the film  To Kill a War Machine left out.

4PR – Voice of the People: What made the UK government ban Palestine Action?

Yvette CooperHome Affairs Secretary: Our government’s decision to proscribe Palestine Action was prompted by a specific incident involving military aircraft.

4PR: Could you please be more specific?

Yvette Cooper: Certainly. On 20 June 2025, activists from Palestine Action broke into RAF Brize Norton, a major Royal Air Force base in Oxfordshire, and vandalised two Voyager tanker aircraft, used for air-to-air refuelling, by spraying red paint into their engines and using crowbars.

Military aircraft damaged by Palestine Action  at RAF Brize Norton on Friday 20 June 2025. In response, Home Secretary Yvette Cooper banned Palestine Action on the following Monday.

4PR: Were Voyager tankers used by the RAF to bomb Libya and Yemen.

Yvette Cooper: The RAF’s involvement in the 2011 mission over Libya called Operation Unified Protector included tanker-aircraft support. RAF Voyager tankers were explicitly used to support strikes.

4PK: On 15 March 2025, a Voyager departed RAF Akrotiri and operated in the area near Jeddah during airstrikes off the Yemen coast. Isn’t Yemen the only country giving direct support to Gaza by upholding international law that opposes the genocide?

Yvette Cooper: No. There are multiple countries, including the United Kingdom, providing humanitarian or other forms of support to Gaza under frameworks of international humanitarian law and diplomatic/financial aid.

4PR: What aid is the Starma Labour government giving Gaza right now?

Assistant to Home Secretary: Ma’am, we are giving £20 million to support UNRWA (the UN agency for Palestinian refugees) delivering essential services to the Palestinians. We have only just announced new support for women and girls in Gaza: funding for midwives, emergency medical supplies for new mothers, and menstrual‐hygiene kits.

4PR (to the home secretary): Why did the UK government suspend vital aid funding after Israel’s undocumented allegations that Hamas was running UNWRA in Gaza?

Yvette Cooper: We were worried about UNRWA’s neutrality and staff involvement in a terrorist attack. We demanded proof and better safeguards before resuming funding.

4PR: Why would you adopt Israel’s unproven allegations over assurances from the United Nations?

Assistant to Yvette Cooper: Mossad provided us with  a dossier that 19 UNWRA staff took part in the 7 October attacks.

4PR: In August of 2024, a UN investigation said that there was possible involvement by 9 of those 19 people but no definitive proof of participation  and that the 10 others did not participate in 7 October attacks.

Yvette Cooper: That is why we have to be so careful.

4PR: What do you say to Lowkey’s allegations that Cyprus is a colony that Britain retained and now, it is being used to facilitate Israel’s genocide in Gaza, by supplying arms, personnel and intelligence.

Yvette Cooper: Lowkey is not qualified to make any comments about UK involvement in the Mediterranean, he is part of a proscribed organisation.

4PR:  Your assistant has just told us that the RAF Akrotiri base in Cyprus is being used to support Israeli bombing operations in Yemen and in Gaza.

Yvette Cooper: I think that is where we will terminate this interview.

4PR: I think we will have to leave it there. Please note that Yvette Cooper has banned the documentary To Kill a War Machine, withdrawing it from further distribution in the UK.

  1. You can also send an e-mail (bumping from another chat): Hi, 8 ‘Palestine Action’ prisoners on hunger strike’ in the UK prison system are facing death. The UK Government has categorically refused to engage with their legal representatives and would rather see them die than commence a dialogue discuss their demands.

I urge you to A. share this message and write an email to the British High Commission in Canberra.

The details are below with an email message that you may embrace or make your own. Their medical condition is true such that they may not survive into the New Year.

    Dear Sir/Madam
I am bringing to your URGENT ATTENTION the 8 ‘Palestine Action’ prisoners, held over a year in the British prison system without trial, who went on hunger strike in early Nov 2025. They were arrested before Palestine Action was prescribed as a terrorist organization. The accusations against them do not involve violence against people.

I had to learn, that The British Government, your government, categorically refuses to meet with their legal representatives. The medical condition of the young prisoners is highly critical, and they are NOW facing death.

I, the undersigned, urge you to express to your government the grave concerns many Australians hold regarding your persistent refusal to meet with the prisoner’s legal representatives, these young people’s deteriorating health, and holding them in prison for over 12 months without a trial. The activists I am writing about here have been arrested before ‘Palestine Action’ was proscribed as a terror organization. They are indeed innocent unless proven guilty. The government’s behaviour towards them is unlawful and in breach of the law.
I demand that the prisoner/hungerstrikers be released on bail immediately, not just for their sake but also for the sake of the now tarnished reputation of the British Government.

    1. Thank you, Ali.

“Crime is crime is crime; it is not political, it is crime” – Margaret Thacher on Bobby Sands and the hunger strikers,

History tells us that Bobby Sands died in May 1981 after 66 days without food. Prior to his death and that of 10 others the provisional IRA was a proscribed organisation like Palestine Action.

Thatcher like Starmer ignored them all and took Britain to war against Argentina over the Malvinas (Falklands). This covered up these sins and others and the Iron maiden survived 4 elections.

Sein Fein was propelled into the mainstream and signed the good Friday agreement in 1998 brokered by Blair.

Palestine Action has forced closure of three Elbit systems factories: Tamworth, Oldham, and Leicester but there are about 16 in Britain and they are closely interwoven within British defence industries. Their drone kill Gazans. But the UK ruling class don’t care.

For Palestine Action to win would require bringing down the government. The hunger strikers don’t have that much time.
