Tony Blair – ‘Governor of Gaza’

Laurence, the film, portrayed a romanticized version of the Arab world invented by Europeans where the Ottomans were driven out by colonial Britain with the aid of Arab elites. T.E. Lawrence attempted to get Saudi and Syrian kings like Faisal and Hussein to form their own countries in what was then Asia Minor or Anatolia. Without irony, Lawrence justified this by saying:

“It’s better for them to do it imperfectly than for us to do it for them perfectly.”

Unsurprisingly, T. E. Lawrence wrote his thesis at Oxford about Castles built during the Crusades.

Under the Trump/Netanyahu plan announced on 30 September 2025, Tony Blair will head up a ‘Board of Peace’ making him effectively the governor of Gaza. Tony Blair is trying to play his version of Laurence, this time in the midst of a genocide in Palestine. Governor Blair will never set foot in Gaza. Both the poodle and its backers are fantasists.

This is what Ramzy Baroud (a Palestinian from Gaza now living in the States) has to say about Blair’s appointment as ‘Governor of Gaza’:
