Comrades, awesome work today. That was an amazing mobilisation. The number of people who came out for Justice for Palestine Magan-djin, the solidarity amongst ourselves, the positive response from the workers marching past, especially the CFMEU, ETU and QTU members, and the energy of our contingent – all made for a great action. – JR
2025. GREAT MAY DAY, especially after what happened last year. Despite QCU belligerence, union members came out strong and determined to challenge the erosion of our right to organise in solidarity with Palestine, Cuba, and construction workers.
That aside, it was a great show of solidarity from the CFMEU the ETU and the retail workers in support of Palestine. Together, we showed the ALP politicians that Palestine is union business.

It was a devastating loss to see the one politician who came out in support of the CFMEU and Palestine to lose his seat in the Federal Parliament. I’m talking about the Greens member for Griffith, Max Chandler-Mather.
