The Americans deserve Trump, a country for old men

As part of the Big Ride for Palestine, I rode out to Logan City to show solidarity with the refugees in their quest for permanent protection visas. I spoke with K. about the genocide of his people,  the Tamils, where over 300,000 people were corralled by the Sri Lankan military (advised by Israel in its weapons purchases and ethnic cleansing). Former Australian prime minister, Bob Hawke, supported this Sri Lankan government in their ruthless pursuit of the Tamils . The refugees will be conducting a virtual at Logan Central on the 27th of October sorry at 2:00 p.m. “All we want is permanent protection visas” said K.

In April 2009 more than 200,000 Tamils were trapped inside a barren and shadeless 12-kilometre strip of land, without drinking water. Food and medicines were not allowed in. Forced hysterectomies and abortions of Tamil women make the genocidal aim of the Sri Lankan government’s offensive unmistakable. This was another Gaza in Palestine, concealed from world view.

Solidarity with the refugees! They must have protection.

Then, I rode along the Bulimba creek bikeway to the river, and on the weekend, I will be going to the sea. Free Free Palestine 🇵🇸 from the river to the sea!

At the same time in Northern Gaza, the Israeli army has 400,000 Palestinians corralled into a UNWRA school in Jabalia, with many people taking refuge in tents. The Israelis have cut off all humanitarian supplies of food and water. The IDF intend to do what the Sri Lankan military did to the Tamils who were defenceless.

This is a defence laboratory, a project engineered to create a genocide within a genocide.

On the day that this started, 200 Jewish people were arrested outside the New York Stock Exchange, opposed to the genocide. It is not just that they do not wish this genocide to be in their own name it is also they are trying to dissociate themselves from the United States itself.

When Congress gave Netanyahu a standing ovation less than a month ago, they did so because 20% of the people in Congress own shares in Raytheon, Boeing, Halliburton and all the other companies of mass destruction and genocide.

The Americans deserve Trump.

Israel is the pointy end of American empire.

Meanwhile in Australia there is a 15% swing against the government in Queensland. There may even be as big as swing in the federal election. Regardless, both parties, Labor and LNP, like the United States, supported the genocide of the Tamil people and of the Palestinians.
