BIN: Complex. The moderates were tricked & betrayed by the Americans. There are lessons here for Sisi, MBS, Abdullah, et Ali’s. I don’t understand what the Americans are up to. They seem determined to do STUPID!

So my feeling is that the hard liners have seized control partly bc the Americans seem to have made it stupid to be a moderate. We seem to be witnessing the consequences of the “Whatever Bibi wants” policy. It’s all very dangerous.
4PR: In CBS’s vice presidential debate just finished, JD Vance said it’s up to Israel what they want to do. The DNC seems ok for Israel to make a preemptive strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities. I doubt Putin will wish to weigh in, but will Putin give Syria some missile cover. What’s the endgame? Don’t we need to defeat the US for Palestine to be free?
BIN: The US have permitted a situation to develop where they have allowed Israel to morph into a mad dog rather than a carefully controlled attack dog. It has yet to dawn on the Yanks that if Israel gets what it wants, US interests will suffer. Putin is slowly becoming aware that he now,not the US, has a Muslim card to play.
