Twin Towers at 281-297 Montague Road West End?
The development application for 2 x 25 storey towers on Montague Road (A005608649) exceeds the allowable height (12 storeys and 6 storeys) in exchange for 4000m2 to be added to Davies Park.
The applicant has lodged their Council’s Information Request. with no reduction in height/units and claims that they have had “extensive community consultation phase and received favorable support letters have been included from adjoining property stakeholders.”
West End Community Association (WECA) opposes this proposal of excessive development that disregards the South Brisbane Riverside Neighbourhood Plan (SBRNP).
