Dear Activists for Palestine,
The attached photo shows the breakwater armour rocks which could be transformed into memorials to Palestinians killed by the Israeli Occupation. The names of the deceased could be painted onto these man-made rocks and the breakwater declared a Palestinian memorial.
In lieu of floral tributes appeals could be made for donations to charities like Medical Aid to Palestinians and the Middle East Children’s Alliance. This protest would raise the totally ignored suffering of the Palestinian people, partiularly those in Gaza, into local media and, hopefully, political prominence. Australia must condemn Israel’s barbaric siege of Gaza and the illegal collective punishment of its people.Please share your thoughts about this.
