Thanks to a grant from the Community Broadcasting Foundation Ltd, 4ZZZ is offering a special one day workshop for people who are non-English native speakers aged 18 to 40 years and open to everyone (subscribers and non 4ZZZ subscribers alike)

(Applicants to choose one session only – each session covers the same material)A MAXIMUM OF TEN (10) APPLICANTS PER SESSION WILL BE ACCEPTED
The session covers:
A brief history of community radio in Australia, including 4ZZZ’s specific milestonesBroadcasting laws and responsibilities focusing on the role of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia and the Australian Communication & Media Authority
Hands on skills taught in interviewing, writing for radio & on-air broadcasting/presentation
COST: FREE!
This workshop is open to all members of the Brisbane CALD community (not just 4ZZZ subscribers) who are 18 to 40 years of age as at 31 December 2015 and will take place at the studios of 4ZZZ.
