Bowraville 3 enquiry tabling

isja has been advised that the parliamentary enquiry into the effect of the death of the three children on the families and the bowraville community is to be tabled in the nsw parliament at 9.30am on thursday 6 november 2014.

further to that action isja has been asked to represent and/or support two of the mothers of the three children.

the mother of 16 year old colleen walker-craigie, ms muriel walker, has requested our attendance on her behalf as she is unable to attend on the day.

the mother of 4 year old evelyn greenup, ms. barbara greenup, who will be attending on the day has also requested our support to her on the day.

isja is both honoured and proud to assist these fiesty but still grieving mothers in their ongoing fight for justice.

to that end we are calling a snap rally outside of parliament house at 9am on the 6/11. the rally will continue whilst the families, including myself on behalf of ms. muriel walker, attend the tabling of the report and to hear any contributions made by the attendant parliamentarians.

when the exercise is completed both ms barbara greenup and myself on behalf of ms. muriel walker, will then advise those assembled of what they think of the report. other family representatives present are welcome to put their view also. it is hoped that the initiator of the enquiry, david shoebridge of the nsw greens will also address those present.

will the report bring a level of peace to the three families and the bowraville community and their supporters? at this point in time we know not. will this report that has been tabled be capable of being used as a social justice springboard to find ultimate justice? again at this point we just do not know. or will there be information enough in the report to allow our current nsw attorney-general, brad hazzard, to order that justice be done? again, we just do not know.

come join us to learn if real justice can be found for the bowraville 3, their families, community and many supporters including police who want the cases reopened and combined to bring a final end to this awful injustice.

beware! the link below shows photos of the murdered children. please do not open if such depictions will cause offence, hurt or emotional stress.

  1. Ray Jackson says:

michelle and family (see letter below)

i make this list apology to you and all the greenup family for my crass error of describing ms.barbara greenup-davies as the birth mother of evelyn greenup. in the use of this descriptive i have erred badly to all the greenup family but especially to barbara whom i have both upset and annoyed. i have, by my stupid blind rush to advertise the tabling of the report, listed barbara not as evelyn’s aunt but wrongly as her mother.

mea culpas are just not enough in this situation. sorry just does not seem to convey the guilt and trauma that i am feeling.

my error, due to my haste and the fact that i should have contacted barbara before sending out the message, has caused significant concerns to the greenup family and myself. the mistakes were mine and mine alone.

to all members of the greenup family, direct and extended, i can only offer this public apology as a mere token of the hurt i have done.

despite this wrong being done it does not change the wider picture of what will happen on thursday 6/11 at 9am outside of parliament house. the rally will go ahead, i am still to represent ms. muriel walker and obtain a copy of the report ion her behalf., those family members who wish to do so can address the rally if they choose to do so.
