Pirate Brides are Ryk Rostron, Rose Broe, John Holmberg and Markus Karlsen.

The ‘Brides’ sweet harmony sound and distinctive arrangements are grounded in the Irish, Australian and American traditions. Their music is a treasure chest of contemporary acoustic originals through to Roots Country, Bluegrass, Celtic and Old Time – all backed by lively and tasteful instrumentation on accordion, mandolin, clawhammer banjo, guitar, and double bass

Pirate Brides are a well-loved fixture in the Brisbane acoustic music scene. [website]

Innes Campbell from Scotland, is a Brisbane based songwriter and award winning guitarist. He has been delighting festival crowds up and down the country since 2010 with a high energy show fuelled by his guitar, wit and intelligent songwriting. Innes’s show is an engaging mix of skilled multi instrumentation – guitar, mandolin, banjo and bass pedals – with witty original songs, old Scots songs, and a stage presence that will enthrall and delight you. Jumping Fences: the song-writing partnership of Lachlan Hurse and Sue Monk, will be playing their energetic folk, tinged with Latin American influences. They will be playing with Dan Simpson, Ross Gwyther, James Harper and Robbie Stewart. Their original works contain imagery and styles that reveal both an incisive insight into Australian life.
