Organising meeting with special guest speaker
MEETING IS ON THE 26th OF OCTOBER, NOT THE 16th
After our successful rally last Saturday to commemorate the SIEV-X disaster of 10 years ago, the Refugee Action Collective invites you to get involved in the campaign to create a better future for asylum seekers and refugees who try to come to this country.
This meeting will include a special presentation by well-known Refugee Action Coalition (NSW) spokesperson Ian Rintoul. His subject will be: Since the collapse of the Malaysian agreement, will Labor bring real change?
Other main agenda item: planning an event to mark Human Rights Day in early December. There are a few minor items as well.
When: 6.30 pm, Wednesday 26th October.
Where: 2nd floor, TLC Building, 16 Peel St, South Brisbane.
Getting there: Parking on site. Close to Cultural Centre bus station, South Brisbane railway station, South Bank City Cat.
