Brisbane to continue to protest attacks on Gaza

Press Release, Friday 9th January 2009

People from all walks of life including members of Brisbane’s Palestinian community along with supporters of Palestinian freedom and social justice will gather in Queens Park in the city on Saturday
10th January 2009 at 12.30 pm to protest Israel’s invasion of Gaza and to highlight the shocking humanitarian crisis that is a result of Israel’s continued murderous attacks on the people of Gaza.

Spokesperson for Justice for Palestine, Abdalla said,

“Israel’s escalation of its indiscriminate attacks on the people of Gaza has now cost over 700 lives including the lives of at least 219 children. Over 3100 people have been seriously injured about half of who are women and children.” From the very beginning of this massacre of Palestinians the targets of the air strikes have included mosques, the university and residential areas. Since Israeli troops have entered Gaza the fighter-bombers have also attacked market places and 3 United Nations run schools.

The 3 schools where sheltering families who thought they would receive protection from the United Nations while their homes were being bombed. The United Nations told Israel the exact location of their schools and guaranteed that they were only being used as schools and shelters. “This is a criminal act of a criminal and murderous regime. It is a war crime. It is a crime against humanity,” stated Abdalla.

Israel is using depleted uranium ammunition (an extremely hard metal that leaves behind radioactive dust which causes radiation poisoning, cancer and birth defects) and cluster bombs (bombs that break into lots of little bombs, many of which don’t explode when they hit the ground creating minefields of unexploded bombs) in one of the World’s most densely populated areas, the home of 1.5 million Palestinians. “How can Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard remain silent on Israel’s aggression, does she think it is acceptable to use such devastating weapons in built up areas against predominately civilian targets? Why is Prime Minister Kevin Rudd silent about this aggression? Does he condone this massacre? Does he think Israel is justified in breaking the Geneva Convention and many other international laws?” Abdalla asked.

“Last Saturday in Brisbane 500 people came out despite the rain and rallied for the people of Gaza. This Saturday again will see people passionately speaking out for the people of Gaza as people all over Australia and the world have and continue to speak out. There will be placards, flags and slogan chanting and this time we will be marching through the streets of Brisbane,” Abdalla said.

Speakers will include advocate for Palestine Michael Shaik (Australians for Palestine), Graham Perrett MP (Federal Member for Moreton) and Amanda Richards (Assistant General Secretary Queensland Council of Unions).

  4. Bush and Obama are indeed in the pockets of the global elite, just the elite is bigger than Jewish bankers.

    I have indeed given the possibility some consideration and I do not dismiss all that the U.S. patriots say. Their analysis of the banking system and the Fed and fractional banking have been correct, proven by the present banking crisis. However to reduce this massive corruption to an ethnic group just does not fit with the reality that is going on.

    It was the patriots who drew my attention to the Bildeberg group, which is clearly a central element of the conspiracy. Jimmy Carter, a key figure of the Bildeberg mob was the first democrat in the electoral council to endorse Obama. Obama’s previous defence of the state of Israel is predictable. However the Bildeberg group is comprised of people of all nations and ethnicities who support the agendas of big money no matter who owns it.

    The central mechanism of the global conspiracy is not some collection of Jews, but rather a collection of bankers in the world bank and its many tentacles. At present the dominant group in the world bank are Chinese bankers.

  6. Real conspiricies are not broad. You want to make them so, since you can’t stomach the reality of the racial component to International Jewry. As Disraeli (Sephardic Jew) once said “Everything in history comes down to race in the end” or something to the effect.

    No, you reject what’s right in front of your face simply because you’ve had the race and holocaust fence erected inside your head all this time and don’t dare to think otherwise.

    Yes, there is a globalist elite, not all Jewish, but the engine to this class is indeed Jewish, no matter what you wish for.

    I realise the Zionist conspiricy is a central element of the white power patriots. However Jews are not the only ethnic group represented amongst the corporate elite that dominates your country and ours. The extent to which you blame the corruption of America on Jews is the extent that you become blind to the broader real conspiracies, those defined not by ethnicity but by capital.

    The Rothschilds were indeed part of the creation of the state of Israel just as they were part of creating the whole of the U.S. industrial growth in the 20th century (dependent on a client state in the Middle East). Rosthchild was an opportunist, as bankers and industrialists of all nationalities tend to be, that was well connected to the American state, as bankers and industrialists tend to be. His was an economic conspiracy, not an ethnic one.

    Henry Ford also held to the Jewish conspiracy theory, He blamed the Jews for world war 1, but any serious analysis of the first world war (and the second) shows that the motivation was the imperial expansion of European powers to claim bigger markets and resources in order for empires such as Ford’s to grow.

    If you are serious about freedom from domination and corruption you need to resist empires such as Ford, not just Rothschild.

    There are christians also deeply embedded in the U.S. banking and military elites who conspire to screw the world. They like their Jewish, chinese, Arab, Japanes and other brethren will deal with anyone who has the money and weapons to deal. This is the nature of the conspiracy.

    Your own anti-semitism and that of the patriot movement is an illusion that further blinds the victims of the real conspiracies (including U.S. citizens). You know something is very wrong and someone has conveniently blamed the Jews for it, you therefore seek liberation, or at least a sense of resisting the oppression, by hating the Jews (and blacks and reds and chicano). Your white power however is a smokescreen that will keep you powerless and irrelevant because you cannot join the dots if the dots exist outside of your one dimensional Jewish conspiracy theory.

    It is not “the Jews” who are evil, they did not create the state of Israel. The creaters of the Israel state were the global imperial powers, in particular England and the U.S. as a vehicle for their foreign policies in the middle east, in particular to maintain and expand access to oil in order to fuel the cars and factories of places like England and the U.S. – and Australia.

    If we are to look at which f-ckers the evil resides with, it is Americans, English and Australians (amongst others).

    There is no doubt that Jewish cultural identity has been used as an underpinning of the Israel state, just as German self identity was used to justify Hitler’s Third Reich.

    However, peace between Jews and Arabs is easy and their are many attempts to achieve just that. The religions of Jews and Arabs both enshrine peace and justice. The evil is not with the Jews, it is with those that fund the Israel state and its military adventures, such as the U.S. who abstained from the recent U.N. vote on Gaza.

    I have no idea who you are, but (unless you are a tribal indigenous person) you will find in your own ancestry an evil just as bad as what is occuring in Gaza today. In your own country, the U.S., you are living on occupied land. The brutality against native Americans was/is no less than Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. Is the average American as evil as the average Israeli?
