I reckon most of the people who attend JFP (etc) rallies support the two state solution and the recognition of the State of Palestine. They are primarily motivated by the horror of the genocide, and JFP only campaigns about the horror of the genocide. This massive Australian force could be directed to pressuring the ALP to take seriously its recognition of Palestine by sending peace keepers, more aid, and making trade deals to solidify the State of Palestine. But JFP distracts this powerful force into meaningless and irrelevant expressions of moral outrage, capturing the Story Bridge, picketing engineers and petrol stations or marching around empty streets while never ever mentioning the State of Palestine – just when the State of Palestine most needs international support. JFP is a useful idiot distraction from Palestinian liberation. FREE MARWAN BARGHOUTI!

She recounted treating a 16-year-old boy shot by an Israeli drone and his arduous journey to Al Shifa Hospital. She detailed the devastating impact of modern weapons, including rockets and drones, and the severe lack of medical resources.
Despite this, she witnessed extraordinary human resilience and dedication among health care workers. Dr. Aziz called for global action, urging boycotts, divestment, and sanctions against Israel, demanding an end to the siege, occupation, and apartheid, and justice for those affected. Palestinians are united against Israel. Netanyahu is sending armed gangs into Gaza pretending that they are defending Palestinians. There are credible reports of members of the Israeli led Gaza Humanitarian Fund shooting children trying to get food aid from their trucks.
Israel has always denied Palestinians sovereignty over their land, sea and air. That is the nature of the Zionist project from Ben Gurion to Netanyahu. I don’t know what people who attend rallies think the solution is, they just want the genocide to stop.
