I have listened to the two-state solution lie for over 50 years. The massacre of Palestinians is the reason Israel is a military dictatorship and therefore no longer viable if it ever was. There has been an insurrection by the people against an apartheid state . The people have spoken. There never was and never will be a two-state solution. That will mean the genocide is complete. Palestinians without any rights alongside a nuclear state based on race.

Wrong question. Without the resistance on the ground and solidarity overseas the genocide is complete. Two years of continuous mass slaughter and destruction of Gaza following on from the last 76 years of catastrophe has made the survival of Palestinians dependent upon generations of recovery. The solidarity movement must face this, their commitment is for 50 or 60 years. I won’t be there to see it. My commitment has been for the last 50 years.

Israel is no longer viable. Israel”s existence is now entirely dependent on the US. A few hours ago, even Qatar’s prince deserted the US/Israeli hoodlums. That Prince is corrupt he owns shares in Boeing he gave Trump a jet.

There are two possible futures for Palestine, either 1) an independent state supported by China and BRICS which is the goal of the united Palestinian resistance, or 2) completing the ethnic cleansing, Trump Gaza, the E1 developments and the Ben Gurion Canal. Which side are you on? There is no third option, except in the imagination of moral and ideological commentators.

You keep saying Israel is not viable, but it keeps massacring Palestinians pretty effectively. The Israeli government collapsed at the last Knesset sitting, if not before. The Israeli economy collapsed soon after Oct 7 2023 (BDS is flogging a dead horse). However the Israeli military-industrial complex and its international support is stronger than it has ever been, the loss of the government and economy are just collateral damage for their success, and they are succeeding. Only a Palestinian state with a negotiated settlement with Israel (e.g. the China/PLO plan) can stop the genocide.
The only real thing Australia can do (as distinct from self righteous noise in the streets) is to recognise a Palestinian state. This has happened because of decades of campaigning lobbying, letter writing and petitions by ALP members and unions strategically targeted to forcing an ALP government to act – and they did! That is an example of a real impact on the genocide. Not as sexy and heroic as public grandstanding but it is real. Yet you and the public fantasy movement oppose a Palestinian state? Get real!
Who did all the letter writing? Who did all the petitioning? Who did all the meetings organising the agenda and making sure they were run democratically? Who put out the tables and chairs? Who organised for Palestine in the unions? Who campaigned alongside Labour for Palestine in the Palestine Fair Trade stall? Who persuaded Young Labor to pass a national motion calling on the government to sanction Israel and impose an immediate arms embargo? … unheralded hard-working JFP members and others like us. That’s who.
It is the right question, everything else is fantasy.

All that happened was a protocol by WordPress requiring my approval of your comments. I had already posted your comments before I realized this. Plus, if i didn’t give you the link on Facebook it was a human oversight. Besides you know where to look.
Doing this work is very hard I get up at 3 am in the morning, and I do seven hours of writing and editing and correcting, and then I go about doing all my daily chores. I often do not get to bed until late. It all starts up again, 24/7.
I go to all the meetings and the rallies. At the rallies, I do the sound … I never speak I’m always in the background, preferencing Palestinian voices. Being guided by their ideas and needs, not those of self-righteous fantasists who have never emerged from their rooms to support a single action to stop the slaughter.
This is my 50th year as a defendant in the criminal justice system, and the only thing I have learned from it is there is no such thing as rehabilitation. I mean of the system . IT is UNJUST, irrevocably.
