I asked Member for Goldstein, Zoe Daniels, if she would sponsor parliamentary petition EN4627 but heard no reply.
Petition EN4627 was titled Targeted killings by Israeli occupation forces on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip and asked the parliament to relax its restrictions on Palestinian entry into Australia. The subject of the petition was recently shot five times by settlers in Nablus. He is currently in an is Raley military hospital and his family fears for his life.

The member for Goldstein, Zoe Daniel, was a signatory to the Teals letter calling for funding to be restored to UNRWA, the Palestinian relief agency, after Netanyahu said it was funding HAMAS. Ten percent 10% of Zoe’s electorate are Jewish.

The only parliamentarian who offered assistance was my local member Max Chandler-Mather who said Australia should: “condemn all intentional violations by Israel of the Palestinians’ right to self-determination, including a call for an immediate end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine and a return of Palestinian resources that have been appropriated by Israel; (2) acting to ensure Israel has international accountability, including an International Criminal Court—that we review any business operating in Australia to ensure they are not complicit in the human rights abuses of Palestinians.“

Max supported the follow up petition End Restrictions on Palestinian travel to Australia
Max’s office also printed Boycott Caltex – no fuel for genocide posters for the Boycott Caltex / Chevron campaign that is being run nationally after requests by Palestine’s BDS campaign.
I made similar requests to Penny Wong, Attorney General Dreyfus, Immigration Minister Giles, Independents Andrew Wilkie, Bob Katter, Greens Senators Rice and Nick McKim. None responded.
Now Zoe Daniels has been defeated by an alleged “Proud Zionist” Liberal Tim Wilson. Surely this AJN newspaper advert can’t be true? To be published with an article by Bruce Hill in the AJN describing how Israeli Occupation forced brutally executed resistance fighter, Yahya Sinwar.
If this is the attitude of the Liberal’s new MP for Goldstein to human rights, then nothing can save the Liberal Party. If he does not change his stance on Palestine, he deserves to be in The Hague with Netanyahu, Wong, Albanese, Biden, Trump, and all the rest of the criminal apologists for genocide promoting arms sales with the apartheid state.
