Dear folks,
As we approach the 20th anniversary of the U.S. invasion & occupation of Iraq with the drums of war
beating in both Europe & Asia – it maybe worth reflecting on the rise & fall of the anti-war movement.
Although this documentary takes place in Ireland there are general lessons for the anti-war movement
in the western world – where we find anti-war resistance met with a first line of policing by NGO’s &
political parties seeing the war as primarily a marketing opportunity.
