A Palestinian father calls for justice for his son, a World Vision worker imprisoned by Israel for 3 1/2 years, tortured, but never allowed to testify against the preposterous charges of which he is accused.
I searched in vain for any reference on your web site (World Vision) to the fate of Mohammed Halabi, your former director in Gaza, who currently languishes in an Israeli prison and has been tortured. The trumped up charges against him are preposterous and have been shown to have no credibility by several international observers. He is denied access to his lawyer and even the most basic legal process.
1. Why is he not prominently displayed on your web site with calls for support?
2. When was the last occasion you broached his fate with the Israeli and Australian governments?
3. What plans do you have in place to raise his case internationally?
4. In what ways are you currently supporting him and his family?
