After such a wonderful July event, which was packed out (and one of our biggest crowds ever) we’re very much looking forward to another special night, this time with our guests Confederation Bridge, and Getano Bann

Confederation Bridge combines the talents of Terry Jacob, Robin Etter-Cleave, Christine Venner-Westaway and Mark Davidson. The Band’s repertoire is Celtic to the core. You’ll hear material from Ireland, Scotland and Wales with a few wonderful French-Canadian tunes. You’ll experience rich harmonies, interesting arrangements and lively music to get your body dancin’.

Getano Bann: ‘A Narrator of Life Stories’ – Getano is an award-winning singer, songwriter and storyteller of Scottish and Torres Strait Islander descent.Getano’s songs are a fusion of poignant moments and real passion, as he translates his mixed heritage and life experience into judicious, emotional and engaging songs.Getano has supported and shared the stage with numerous acts including; No Fixed Address, Soweto String Quartet, Shane Howard and Goanna, Blue King Brown, Archie Roach and Ruby Hunter, Christine Anu, Kev Carmody, The Wurrupi Band, Mary G, Bart Willoughby, Coloured Stone, and many more. For Foco Nuevo, multi-talented Caroline Hammond will be joining him. [website]

Jumping Fences: the song-writing partnership of Lachlan Hurse and Sue Monk join forces with a group of experienced musicians to play their energetic folk, tinged with Cuban flavours. Their original works contain imagery and styles that reveal both an incisive insight into Australian life and a long association with Latin American culture. [website]
