Clinic 2 provides care for people living with human immunodeficiency virus (PLHIV). Their team includes health care professionals expert in HIV and we provide education, information, medical and nursing support according to your needs.
The pharmacy service has a specialist HIV pharmacy. The pharmacy team gives advice on any aspect of your drug treatment. The pharmacy is also a major source of dispensing prescriptions related to HIV.
We will be protesting with the Nurses Union of Queensland.
We call on the Newman Govt to acknowledge their responsibility to provide universal access to high quality public health services by maintaining the full range of services provided at the Sexual Health & HIV Services Brisbane.
Every Australian has the right to universal access to high quality free public health care – and it is your duty to ensure that right is fulfilled, not to close health services down and undermine preventative health.
